As a Virtual Health Medical Assistant you are a crucial link between our patients and providers in a digital-first environment. You'll blend your clinical knowledge with excellent communication skills to ensure a seamless and supportive virtual care experience. Your unique skills will help us deliver outstanding care in a modern accessible way. The hours for this position will be 12pm to 8pm MST with a rotating weekend requirement. Responsibilities Champion the Virtual Patient Experience: Guide patients through the telehealth process from setting up their virtual visit to ensuring they are comfortable and ready to connect with their provider. You'll be a friendly reassuring voice that builds confidence in digital healthcare Provide Remote Clinical Support: Conduct virtual patient intake by gathering and updating medical histories confirming medications and documenting the reason for the visit in our EMR system Facilitate Telehealth Sessions: Assist healthcare providers during virtual consultations by managing patient queues sharing relevant information and coordinating follow-up actions like e-prescribing and scheduling future appointments Master Digital Health Tools: Become an expert in our telehealth platform and other digital tools.
