| Description | Team Lead Firmware Engineer – Remote (Northern Ireland)! 70000€ – 90000€ + Private Health Dental & Optical Cover + Pension + Stock Options + Remote Are you an experienced firmware software engineer ready to take the lead on something truly impactful? We’re working with one of Ireland’s most well-funded and forward-thinking technology companies. With €20 million in new funding raised in 2024 and a strong international presence they’re now growing rapidly and building a new generation of smart connected hardware products to improve safety and performance across key industries. This is a greenfield project and you’ll be the first firmware engineer on the ground. You’ll play a key role in setting the direction of the firmware function building from scratch working closely with the CTO and laying the foundation for a high-performing embedded team. The role is fully remote so it's open to engineers based in Northern Ireland What You’ll Be Doing Lead the end-to-end firmware development for a brand-new industrial tech product Design and build robust embedded firmware using C/C++ and Embedded Linux Work across teams collaborating closely with hardware software and product teams Define architecture processes and help scale the team over time What You’ll Bring 8+ years of experience in embedded systems development (C/C++) Strong hands-on experience with Embedded Linux Exposure to video imaging or signal processing systems Experience with SoCs IoT or low-power hardware Benefits & Package 70000€ – 90000€ + Private health insurance dental & optical cover + Stock options Why Apply?
