| Description | Overview: A leading global real estate investment and development firm is seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to join its U.S. legal team. This role will focus on supporting real estate transactions and joint venture structures particularly in the data center and infrastructure space. The ideal candidate will bring deep transactional experience and a proactive collaborative mindset to help drive complex deals across the organization. Responsibilities: Provide legal support across a wide range of real estate transactions including joint ventures acquisitions leasing and development agreements. Draft review and negotiate legal documents such as purchase and sale agreements leases work letters and municipal agreements. Collaborate with external counsel to manage deal execution and ensure alignment with business goals. Advise internal stakeholders on legal risks regulatory compliance and strategic structuring of transactions. Coordinate consistency across related documents including construction contracts leases and service agreements. Support corporate governance and investment committee processes through legal reporting and documentation. Monitor legislative and regulatory developments impacting real estate and infrastructure operations. Maintain and manage legal documentation through internal systems. Qualifications: J.D. from an accredited law school licensed and in good standing with a U.S. state bar. 7+ years legal experience with a strong focus on data center real estate and joint venture transactions. Proven expertise in commercial real estate law including acquisitions leasing and development. Familiarity with construction contracts and data center-related agreements is a plus. Strong drafting negotiation and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities able to work cross-functionally with business and technical teams. |
