As the Sr. Product Marketing Manager who reports to the Sr. Director of Product Portfolio Marketing for Optum Life Sciences your mission is to ensure Optum Life Sciences’ products and services stand out in the marketplace. This involves collaborating closely with key business partners and product managers to develop differentiated messaging and materials for product launches and related promotional campaigns. Primary Responsibilities: Execute go-to-market plans for new product launches and enhancements with marketing colleagues and business partners Develop product messaging including tailored messaging for multiple audiences Develop playbooks slides talking points collateral pieces FAQs videos and other resources for use by sales in discussing products and services with customers Create product-specific and product family marketing materials and resources Collaborate on the ongoing evolution of established products to ensure marketing messaging and materials remains relevant up-to-date and differentiated over time Support product naming and trademark research and registration Assess and interpret stakeholder needs and requirements Collaborate on product-related content for initiatives owned by marketing colleagues such as public speaking engagements digital marketing campaigns sales presentations and more Manage approvals for all messaging and materials from multiple reviewers (legal regulatory branding product) Identify and support ongoing and ad hoc marketing activities Work independently and own projects from end-to-end Foster trusting and collaborative relationships with business stakeholders SMEs legal and privacy partners marketing colleagues and internal and external creative services partners Utilize marketing metrics to monitor and enhance effectiveness of your work Work with leadership to prioritize your responsibilities to align with business objectives and drive maximum impact You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: 5+ years of professional writing and editing experience Proficiency with Microsoft Office application suite particularly Word and PowerPoint Demonstrated ability to clarify manage and prioritize several deliverables simultaneously Experience launching products in the marketplace Experience working in a matrixed fast-paced dynamic environment Ability to manage ambiguity and shift projects and priorities to meet the changing landscape Ability to be highly organized and to multi-task managing a high volume of tactics from concept to execution to optimization Ability to model positive collaborative behaviors that are core to a culture of inclusion and diversity Desire to be empowered to work independently and drive area of responsibility towards quality and success Preferred Qualifications: 5+ years marketing experience B2B healthcare experience Solid personal communication skills and the ability to build collaborative relationships across a broad range of disciplines interests and organizations Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets education work experience certifications etc. In addition to your salary we offer benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package incentive and recognition programs equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
