The position will report to the Area Manager for UK North & Ireland. The job: Managing key financial metrics within our existing customer base and developing sales growth opportunities within key market sectors in line with Solenis’ business strategy & commercial targets Managing influent water treatment cooling tower boiler and waste water applications in Ireland (around the Dublin area) Managing and utilizing Solenis team resourse to deliver customer value projects primarily around energy and water savings Managing Legionella compliance programmes in partnership with our existing customers Responsibility for all sales account correspondence contracts orders received new business implementation troubleshooting and follow up within territory Working to clarify defined commercial sales targets – reviewed on a monthly basis The types of industries to service and to sell into are within food and beverage pharmaceutical heavy and light engineering dairy and chemicals Dealing with Technical Engineering Buyers and Facility Managers Maintaining appropriate records There is initially an approximate 40/60 split between new business sales and key account management (including sales and service and consultancy to existing customers) The Individual: Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree preferably in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering is required or relevant years of experience in lieu of a degree Sales experience in the Water treatment industry preferable Sound technical knowledge of boiler and/or cooling water treatment and current relevant legislation.
