Virtual Administrative Assistant (Part-Time Remote Nashville Preferred) From Your Father – Nashville TN (Remote/Hybrid) $250month ~5 hours/week Contractor (1099) About Us: From Your Father is a Christ-centered grassroots nonprofit on a mission to show fatherless children in Nashville that they are seen supported and surrounded by love. We provide physical resources and community-driven experiences that remind families they are not alone. As a small and growing organization we’re looking for someone who shares our faith heart and commitment to excellence. Position Overview: We are seeking a professional friendly and detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to support our Executive Director with essential administrative tasks. This is a flexible part-time contractor role for someone who values faith purpose-driven work and helping behind the scenes to keep things running smoothly. Applicants in the Nashville area are preferred for monthly in-person check-ins but we are open to the right candidate working remotely from another location if there's strong alignment with our mission and values. Key Responsibilities: Check and manage the Executive Director’s inbox daily (Monday–Friday) Respond to emails and schedule meetings Follow up with key contacts and send reminders Complete light administrative tasks (e.g. organizing documents pulling files) Maintain Google Drive folders and help update basic spreadsheets (If local) Attend a 1-hour in-person check-in meeting once a month Ideal Candidate: Has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and alignment with our faith-based mission Is extremely organized reliable and responsive Communicates clearly and professionally Has strong follow-through and attention to detail Owns a smartphone and laptop Has experience with Google Workspace and basic Excel (preferred) Is either based in Nashville (preferred) or available and responsive remotely Time Commitment & Pay: ~5 hours per week / 1hr per day Daily email & calendar management (approx. 1 hour/day Mon–Fri) 2 additional hours/week for admin tasks $250/month ($10/hr) Contractor position (1099). Assistant will invoice monthly and be responsible for their own taxes.
