| Description | Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative E-Commerce Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing our online sales platforms to ensure a seamless shopping experience for our customers. This role requires a strong understanding of e-commerce technologies and practices as well as proficiency in various programming languages and frameworks to support our web development initiatives. Responsibilities Manage and optimize e-commerce platforms to enhance user experience and drive sales. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective online marketing strategies. Utilize data analytics to monitor performance metrics and identify areas for improvement. Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to integrate various services within the e-commerce ecosystem. Ensure the security of applications through RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) and other security measures. Participate in software development projects using Agile methodologies ensuring timely delivery of features. Conduct regular testing and debugging of applications to ensure optimal performance across all devices. Maintain IT infrastructure related to e-commerce operations including server management on AWS or Azure. Support front-end development initiatives using JavaScript React and other relevant technologies. Document processes workflows and technical specifications for future reference. Work experience 0 to 1 startup experience: engineers who owned features infra or product areas (not just “worked on a team that built X”) with quality and speed Is truly a builder: did side projects for fun / open source / indie hacker energy Experience at VC-backed (Seed-Series B) startup Experience in e-commerce Skills Experience with Node.js and TypeScript Experience with data-heavy systems (event pipelines analytics infra personalization AI/ML systems messaging platforms etc.) Experience with database management systems like MySQL and SQL. Familiarity with version control systems such as GitHub and SVN. Understanding of application development principles in both Linux and Windows environments. Knowledge of quantum engineering concepts is a plus but not required. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects effectively. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
