The Technical Trainer at Aras is responsible for delivering remote instructor-led training on the Aras Innovator platform including end user system administration and low-code customization. The role involves creating training materials supporting custom course development and contributing to certification plans and learning paths. Ideal candidates have experience training technical audiences strong communication skills and familiarity with PLM systems enterprise software and Agile methodology. Responsibilities Deliver instructor-led training on the Aras Innovator suite of applications in a remote online setting to customers partners and employees Deliver instructor-led system administration training demonstrating how to change and reconfigure the out-of-the-box solution or build a custom solution by using the low-code modelingfunctions of Aras Innovator Produce materials for a variety of delivery modes such as instructor-led training self-paced training virtual and blended learning platforms Assist with evaluating customer training requirements and creating supplemental courseware to support custom training  Contribute to building a training roadmap with clearly scoped courses that have well defined learning paths  Assist with developing a certification plan for training class participants by establishing learning and performance metrics and measurements Determine a plan for evaluating the effectiveness of training materials and making appropriate adjustments Interact with Product Development Consulting Services and Technical Support to ensure current product knowledge Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Technology Computer Education Process Engineering Computer Science or Engineering disciplines (or equivalent experience) Must have 3+ years of experience delivering classroom and/or remote training to technical audiences (PLM software or equivalent experience) Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communications skills and an ability to work independently or in a team environment Motivated by a fast paced team environment Industry knowledge relating to any of the following: Engineering Change processes Phase Gate Project Management Quality systems (DFMEA PFMEA CAPA) Manufacturing Process Planning Requirements Engineering and CMII change and configuration management Experience in any of the following verticals: Automotive Consumer Products High Tech Electronics Aerospace or Medical Devices Working knowledge of relational databases (we use SQL) Experience with enterprise software installations and virtual platforms (we use VMware) Understanding of Agile methodology Previous experience with Learning Management Systems Familiarity with AI tools Desired applicants will be located in Europe We were recognized as a leader in The Forrester Wave™: Product Lifecycle Management for Discrete Manufacturers Q1 2023 and were also named a leader in the 2023 SPARK Matrix for PLM by Quadrant Knowledge Solutions.
