| Description | The Opportunity As a successful applicant you will join our Equity Research group in our Toronto office covering the financials sector (Big Banks & Insurance). You will prepare industry and company research reports presentation materials and build comprehensive models. You will build relationships with buyside clients and support our Sales team. At Cormark you will advance as quickly as your ability and desire will take you. Qualifications Prior work experience as a research analyst or associate on the buy side or sell side with knowledge of the Financials space is desired. Experience working in Investor Relations / Corporate Development in the Financials sector would be considered an asset. You are equally comfortable working independently or in team environments and have an ability to work under time constraints with attention to detail. You have excellent communication skills both oral and written. You have a passion for stocks and developing deep buyside & corporate relationships. You have at a minimum an undergraduate degree with a focus on business finance and accounting. You are progressing towards or received the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
