DescriptionWe are searching for a seasoned and visionary Chief Data DevOps Engineer / Cloud Infrastructure Specialist with extensive expertise in Microsoft Azure Python Terraform Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions. As a chief you will play a strategic leadership role in shaping and executing the organization's cloud infrastructure roadmap while fostering innovation operational excellence and collaboration across teams customers vendors and third-party stakeholders. You will be responsible for driving proactive solutions to complex challenges ensuring compliance with security and regulatory standards spearheading automation initiatives and championing transformative data engineering efforts. Responsibilities Define and lead the strategic vision for scalable secure and cost-effective cloud infrastructure solutions leveraging Terraform and Microsoft Azure Architect and oversee the design implementation and evolution of high-availability and resilient infrastructure systems to achieve enterprise-level performance and scalability Develop and continuously improve CI/CD strategies and automation frameworks leveraging Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions to drive efficiency and innovation Lead large-scale migration projects including workflows and pipelines to GitHub Actions while ensuring alignment with organizational goals and best practices Orchestrate and guide Python-based data engineering initiatives to manage complex data integration transformation and optimization processes Establish and enforce enterprise-wide security and compliance frameworks across all DevOps operations embedding best practices into systems and workflows Act as an ambassador for the organization in key external engagements with customers vendors and third-party stakeholders fostering partnerships and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives Guide team-wide innovation and learning initiatives embedding a culture of excellence and collaboration within the DevOps function Spearhead the creation and maintenance of enterprise-grade technical documentation to support knowledge sharing and collaboration across internal and external stakeholders Monitor industry trends evaluate emerging technologies and implement future-proofing strategies to ensure the organization remains competitive and at the cutting edge of cloud and DevOps innovation Collaborate with executive leadership to align technology strategies with business objectives ensuring infrastructure initiatives create measurable and sustainable impact Design and implement governance strategies that enable scalability resilience and cost optimization of the organization's cloud infrastructure Requirements 7+ years of relevant professional experience in cloud infrastructure engineering DevOps and pipeline automation roles in enterprise environments 2+ years of leadership experience with a proven track record of delivering infrastructure strategies and driving cross-functional team success Expert-level expertise in Microsoft Azure with demonstrated experience managing Virtual Networks Private Endpoints Network Security Groups (NSG) and DNS zones Advanced proficiency in Python with a focus on architecting solutions for data integration automation and workflow orchestration at scale Extensive hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code including implementing scalable and highly reliable cloud solutions Proven success in designing managing and optimizing complex CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions within enterprise environments Comprehensive knowledge of infrastructure security principles regulatory compliance standards API integration and industry-leading cloud architecture practices Deep expertise in version control systems configuration management and monitoring tools to ensure seamless operations and system performance Exceptional communication skills with an ability to build relationships and collaborate with diverse internal teams external partners and leadership stakeholders Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking skills to address complex technical challenges with innovative solutions Superior written and verbal communication skills in English (C1 level or higher) Nice to have Advanced expertise in Azure Synapse Analytics Azure Databricks and Azure SQL Server for large-scale data analytics and processing Proven experience with Cloud FinOps methodologies for managing and optimizing cloud costs while meeting enterprise financial objectives Track record of driving organization-wide DevOps culture improvements that strengthen collaboration enhance workflows and scale infrastructure long-term We offer Connectivity Bonus (15000 ARS are paid with a salary receipt at the end of each month as a non-wages concept).
