This involves a lot of moving parts as we stand up multiple applications and integrations which support various business functions. To support this effort we are building out our IT organization with techno-functional experts who have an expertise in finance and accounting functions of business systems particular those around Order to Cash Procure to Pay Capital/Asset management and general financial reporting. The Business Analyst is a member of the IT- Business Applications team and is responsible for supporting the analysis design development and implementation of financial applications and business processes. This role involves working closely with finance and shared services stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements. This position will assist in the development and maintenance of system documentation and provide support for end users during application deployment and on an on-going basis. What you'll be doing: Analyze Business Requirements: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for new systems or enhancements to existing systems. System Design and Implementation: Assist in the design development testing and implementation of business systems functionality ensuring they meet the specified requirements. Provide support to end users including troubleshooting issues and conducting training sessions to ensure effective use of the systems Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation including user manuals process flows and technical specifications Collaborate with the Master Data Management team to conduct data migrations and data management accurately and efficiently Maintain user access in accordance with SOX compliant segregation of duties Monitor system alerts and daily audit reports providing troubleshooting support as needed Maintain a high-level understanding of ERP (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations) system and related integrations Maintain high level of understanding around consolidated financial reporting tools across multiple business units which span across various countries & currencies Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements to increase efficiency and effectiveness Triaging and troubleshooting standard break fix issues with special care and attention to detail during financial month end close periods This position is located out of the Charlotte NC (Uptown Area) Office We’d love to hear from you if: Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration Information Systems or a related field. 4+ years of Enterprise level application support or analyst type of role Functional Skills: Familiarity with business processes with a strong emphasis on financial functions accounting accounts payables/receivables treasury and capital and asset management Technical Skills: Basic understanding of business systems and software applications. Proven track record with Integrated applications. Familiarity with SQL Debugging and object oriented programming principles preferred (X++ is a plus) ERP systems experience is a must: Microsoft Dynamics 365 (F&O BC AX or similar) is strongly preferred Other application experience preferred: Esker (Collections Cash app AP automation) OneStream PowerApps Power BI Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
