Description Title: Project Manager-I (Platform Implementation Manager) Location: Remote (preferred: New York City San Francisco open to Phoenix Los Angeles Denver Chicago) About the Team This position is within DoorDash Commerce Platform a new SaaS business unit. The platform offers merchants (restaurants grocers retailers) tools for: Online ordering Branded mobile apps Loyalty & gift card programs The Merchant Experience pod ensures merchants have a smooth transition to these tools. The Platform Implementation Manager (PIM) team helps merchants onboard and succeed from day one. About the Role The Platform Implementation Manager is the merchant’s quarterback: Responsible for onboarding merchants onto DoorDash’s Commerce Platform. Coordinates internally and externally to ensure smooth implementation. Provides technical troubleshooting training and ongoing support during the first weeks of adoption. Day-to-day responsibilities include: Scheduling and leading kickoff calls. Project-managing implementation of online ordering mobile apps loyalty and gift card programs. Working cross-functionally with sales account management and technical teams. Troubleshooting technical issues on merchant websites and internally. Training merchants and answering “how-to” questions. Collecting and sharing merchant feedback to improve products and processes. Experience: 3–5 years in: Onboarding Implementation Project Management Account Management Skills: Strong attention to detail able to deliver on-time results. Cross-functional collaboration experience. Excellent presentation and communication skills (internal & external). Tech-savvy curious able to troubleshoot technical issues before escalation. In summary: This is a client-facing cross-functional implementation role where you’ll onboard merchants onto DoorDash’s Commerce Platform serve as their main point of contact during setup handle technical and operational issues and provide product feedback to improve the platform. It’s a hybrid of project manager account manager and technical support specialist with an emphasis on customer experience and onboarding success.
