(position is part-time casual approximately 20 hours per week or less) HOW A OPERATIONS MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT Strategic Planning: Developing and implementing policies procedures and strategies to improve the technical performance of staff. Resource Management: Allocating and managing resources including personnel materials and equipment. Budgeting and Cost Control: Creating budgets and conducting market research for proposals and ensure competitive bids. Keeps current with business and economic trends to forecast how the business will need to adapt and change over time. Performance Monitoring: Establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the performance of technical staff. Team Leadership: Leading training and supervising operational staff to ensure goals and business objectives are met. Problem-Solving: Addressing and resolving any issues that arise in the daily operations. Customer Satisfaction: Ensuring that the operational processes contribute to overall customer satisfaction. Analyzes current processes and workflows to help the organization run efficiently and effectively. This is not however a guarantee of compensation or salary.
