Job Summary: Whoosh is a B2B vertical SaaS company focused on developing modern club operations software for private and public clubs. They are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure their products meet high standards by designing test strategies collaborating with cross-functional teams and advocating for product quality throughout the development lifecycle. Responsibilities: • Design implement and execute comprehensive test strategies across web and mobile platforms. • Write and maintain manual and automated test cases (E2E regression smoke performance). • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define acceptance criteria and test plans for new features. • Monitor application performance stability and user feedback to proactively detect issues. • Investigate isolate and report reproducible bugs with high-quality documentation and follow up until resolution. • Advocate for product and code quality at every stage of the development lifecycle. Qualifications: Required: • 2+ years of experience in QA or software testing (preferably in SaaS or product-driven companies). • Strong understanding of QA methodologies tools and processes. • Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks for UI and API testing. • Familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript and testing libraries like Cypress Playwright or similar. • Experience testing cross-browser responsive layouts and mobile-first designs. • Detail-oriented mindset with a relentless pursuit of quality and a bias toward action. • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team-first attitude. Preferred: • Experience with performance testing load testing or security testing. • Knowledge of accessibility standards and tools. • Prior experience in a remote-first team or startup environment. • Plays golf racquet sports or is familiar with the country club setting.
