Position Summary: The Business Systems Analyst role is responsible for managing implementing and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (formerly Dynamics NAV) solutions. This role requires functional expertise technical knowledge leadership abilities effective communication skills and a commitment to delivering solutions that drive business value. This is a remote position. Responsibilities Participate in an ongoing project to transition to Business Central from NAV. Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze business needs and translate them into ERP solutions. Lead analyst for the following workstreams: + Procure to Pay + Plan to make + Engineer to release + Quality Assist with the setup and configuration of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to meet business requirements. Work with technical teams to design and implement integrations with third-party systems and applications (e.g. LÎMS Laboratory system ETQ Quality Management and Data Warehouse). Provide user training and ongoing support addressing issues as they arise. Assist with vertically integrated ERP projects ensuring timely delivery. Stay informed about new features and industry trends to propose improvements. Support BC/NAV system upgrades modifications and integrations. Analyze business processes and recommend best practices to optimize workflows across the enterprise. Actively participates in required training development programs and electives as suit one’s needs and supports colleagues trainers and management as appropriate with these efforts. What You Need Degree in computer science Information Technology Supply Chain or Business Administration. A minimum of 8+ years of hands-on experience implementing and supporting D365 Business Central and Dynamics NAV. Strong knowledge of Business Central/NAV modules such as Finance Supply Chain Distribution and Manufacturing. Understanding of standard accounting manufacturing and supply chain processes and transactions. Experience working with ISV add-ons for BC/NAV. Familiarity with extensions AL programming and integration tools (e.g. Power Automate APIs). Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform (e.g. Power BI Power Apps). Ability to engage with users at various levels ranging from entry-level to senior leadership. Excellent problem-solving analytical and critical thinking skills. Ability to lead and participate in multiple projects and deliverables in a fast-paced environment. Perform detailed data mapping and data modeling as well as create network topology diagrams and process flow diagrams. Ensure compliance with all the audit requirements of the company. Leads research and analysis to identify trends patterns and insights that support the product owner and stakeholders in the decision-making process.. Create complex SQL queries and help map the data elements as needed collaborate with multiple stakeholders to elicit requirements and lead story estimation for data or application development projects. Develop expertise in systems’ gap and impact analysis to eliminate product inefficiencies. Remain up-to-date on current technology trends software development life cycle methodologies and best practices. Lead department initiatives with limited supervision. Provide mentoring and training to junior team members. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Excellent understanding of the Agile/Lean methodologies. Additional certifications in Agile Scrum or DevOps strongly preferred. 5+ years’ writing complex SQL querying is a plus 5-8 years of business analysis experience required.
