Position Overview Pantheon Data is seeking a Data Engineer with a background in architecture of data-centric technical solutions who is technically proficient and eager to learn. A successful candidate should have a history of hands-on experience with data integration and/or data migration and ideally with data warehousing ETL pipelines. This team will be supporting a ""cloud-first"" migration for various legacy databases and applications. They will be able to communicate clearly and effectively with other engineers as well as less technical team members (e.g. project managers). Responsibilities Data profiling on RDBMS databases (using T-SQL) to inform mapping rules and validate data requirements. Work within a growing engineering team to build and support technical solutions across customers and projects. Collaborate with team leads/members to design and develop solutions that exceed customer expectations. Required Skills and Experience A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Technology Cybersecurity Data Science Information Systems or Computer Science from an ABET accredited or CAE designated institution. Security+ certification 5 years professional hands-on experience in a data engineering role. Expert-level SQL relational databases. Experience with ETL or data migration. Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to interact clearly and succinctly in peer review and design sessions. Willing to learn/contribute meaningfully across technical areas of our projects. Working knowledge of CI/CD methodology and related tools for database development.
