SUMMARY The Email Marketing Specialist will be primarily responsible for setting up marketing campaigns in our email platform tool testing and tracking the performance of the email channel. Direct responsibilities include email & SMS reporting managing email and SMS sends writing creative briefs and email copy. WHAT YOU'LL DO Write the creative briefs for emails associated with Galls USP and Postal brands Write email and SMS copy for daily emails and SMS sends Set up and deploy email and SMS campaigns out of their respective platforms daily QA and test all emails and SMS to ensure 100% accuracy Standardize cleanse and own customer segments for marketing campaigns Execute approved campaign journeys and make required performance amendments based on direction from the leadership team Generate reporting related to email sends and audience lists. Work with the team to develop insights to optimize and Analyze campaign results. Maintain and optimize email automation workflows including trigger-based campaigns transactional emails and customer journeys. Manage email segmentation audience targeting and dynamic content strategies to ensure relevant personalized communication. Write proof and optimize email copy and automation sequences to align with brand guidelines and StoryBrand messaging. Implement AMPscript SQL queries and API integrations to create dynamic data-driven email experiences. Analyze and report on email performance metrics (open rates click-through rates conversions etc.) and apply insights to improve engagement. Conduct A/B testing on subject lines content send times and other variables to enhance campaign effectiveness. Collaborate with the enrollment student advising marketing and customer success teams to improve lead nurturing and engagement. Assist in managing multi-channel messaging including SMS push notifications call scripts and in-platform messaging ensuring consistency in customer communication. Work closely with data analytics teams to ensure audience segmentation is accurate and up to date. Keep the email content calendar updated ensuring timely execution of planned campaigns. Provide internal training and documentation on best practices for email marketing and Marketing Cloud automation. Ensure email deliverability best practices and compliance with CAN-SPAM GDPR and CCPA regulations. Other duties as assigned. Essential Knowledge Skills and Abilities Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud particularly Journey Builder Automation Studio Email Studio and AMPscript. Proficiency in email marketing best practices campaign optimization and performance analytics. Strong understanding of audience segmentation dynamic content and personalization techniques. Excellent copywriting and proofreading skills with the ability to craft engaging conversion-focused messaging. Ability to analyze email performance metrics draw actionable insights and make data-driven improvements. Familiarity with HTML CSS SQL and APIs to support email scripting and integration needs. Knowledge of email compliance laws (CAN-SPAM GDPR CCPA) and best practices for deliverability and inbox placement. Experience with A/B testing and multivariate testing methodologies. Ability to work in a fast-paced high-energy environment and juggle multiple projects simultaneously. Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and manage campaign timelines. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Communications Business or a related field. Three (3) or more years of experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) with expertise in email automation and segmentation. Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist Certification is required. Two (2) or more years of experience managing multi-channel digital marketing campaigns. Experience with AMPscript SQL and dynamic email personalization. Proficiency with Google Suite and Asana (preferred but not required). Ability to pass a required background check.
