The Sales Operations Specialist will support our commercial sales organization. This role will focus on sales maintenance and reporting while serving as the Salesforce subject matter expert for the team. The Specialist will be metrics-driven highly motivated detail-oriented have exceptional communication skills and a passion for process improvement. The salary range is $65018 - $108857. Salary will be determined based on qualifications and experience. This position is fully remote with the expectation that the hired candidate will be able to travel to JAX sites conferences or sales meetings as needed. Up to 25% travel. Key Responsibilities (What you contribute): Act as the primary Salesforce resource for the sales team ensuring system best practices and data hygiene Partners across departments to design implement and test system changes and enhancements Partner with the Sales Enablement team to create audit maintain and deliver Salesforce trainings and sales process documentation Develop and maintain Salesforce dashboards and Power BI reports that support business objectives Manage and monitor lead funnel activity collaborating with Marketing Sales and Inside Sales to create and maintain campaigns in Salesforce Support deal facilitation by coordinating cross-functional inputs Organize update and centralize critical sales resources (e.g. Work Instructions SharePoint assets) Identify opportunities for operational excellence and continuous process optimization Support implementation of new tools workflows and automation to streamline operations Minimum Qualifications: (What you're good at): Bachelor's degree in life sciences or a related field. 5+ years of experience in Sales Operations preferably in the life sciences industry Proven experience with Salesforce and Sales Operations best practices preferably in the creation and management of reports dashboards and campaigns Strong analytical skills and metrics-driven decision-making with fluency in reporting tools such as Salesforce Dashboards and building PowerBI reports Proficiency leveraging Microsoft Excel formulas graphs and pivot tables Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated ability to create and deliver effective training materials Ability to work cross-functionally with Sales Marketing Enablement and other teams Highly organized proactive with a process-oriented and problem-solving mindset Familiarity with SharePoint and managing documentation libraries #CA-DS5 About JAX: The Jackson Laboratory is an independent nonprofit biomedical research institution with a National Cancer Institute-designated Cancer Center and nearly 3000 employees in locations across the United States (Maine Connecticut California) Japan and China.
