About Us Abide Integrative Counseling Services is an integrative mental health practice serving clients across Georgia through therapy and psychiatric medication management. About Our Preceptorship Program We are accepting a limited number of currently-enrolled PMHNP graduate-level students seeking virtual direct clinical training in outpatient psychiatry and mental health care. Students will gain exposure to Psychiatric evaluation and medication management Diagnosis and treatment planning Psychopharmacology decision-making Documentation and charting in an outpatient setting Provider-client communication and therapeutic rapport GeneSight pharmacogenetic testing integration (when needed) Coordinated care within a multidisciplinary team Training is supervised by our licensed psychiatric nurse practitioner for all clinical and medical-related learning and supported by our licensed professional counselor for psychotherapy-focused hours and administrative training. Both providers are experienced supportive and committed to helping students grow confidently in clinical practice. Students also have access to case consultations and guidance as needed. Responsibilities (Student Learning Activities) Observe and participate in psychiatric evaluations Assist with follow-up appointments under supervision Practice documentation and clinical reasoning Engage in case discussions and provider meetings Follow ethical and professional standards at all times Complete required program documentation for your school This is a learning placement not employment.
