Title Sr. Project Manager - eCommerce Transformation Location USA - Remote – Prefers someone in the Pacific Mountain or central time zone (office in Pacific Manager prefers central time zone) Start Date 6/8 or 6/15 Duration – 6 Months (12/31/26) Sr. Project Manager (eCommerce Transformation) to lead execution across a high-visibility in-flight digital commerce program modernizing how exhibitors purchase and manage services. This role sits at the intersection of eCommerce platforms operational readiness and enterprise delivery and is designed for a leader who thrives in ambiguity can stabilize complex programs and can drive executive decisions when progress stalls. This is not a traditional website PM role and not a methodology-enforcement assignment. The successful candidate will bring strong digital delivery judgment operational rigor and a pragmatic outcome-driven mindset—capable of stepping into a live production environment and driving clarity stabilization and forward momentum. You will be expected to reduce ambiguity align cross-functional teams and force the right trade-off conversations so leaders can make timely informed decisions. Program Scope (Indicative) This role will support the Client Store eCommerce modernization program including Replacement of the legacy Expresso platform with a modern eCommerce solution (hosted on BigCommerce) Pilot show setup launch and scaled onboarding of additional shows Production stabilization and post-launch hypercare Integration-dependent delivery (order flow reporting downstream operational readiness) Coordination with reporting and analytics workstreams supporting business visibility Ongoing delivery governance across internal teams and external partners In-flight eCommerce initiatives are stabilized quickly with clear ownership and delivery direction Ambiguity is reduced not escalated Cross-functional stakeholders are aligned and decisions move without prolonged churn Delivery plans reflect real constraints dependencies and operational readiness Business and operational teams trust the plan and can execute within it Key Responsibilities Challenge delivery assumptions sequencing and readiness across business IT and vendor teams Recommend chanClient to scope sequencing or milestones ensuring explicit sponsor alignment prior to execution Escalate decisively to force executive decisions when progress stalls or accountability is unclear Apply independent professional judgment in determining delivery approach subject to agreed objectives governance and sponsor concurrence eCommerce Transformation & Program Delivery Lead end-to-end delivery of CLIENT Store eCommerce initiatives including work already live or in pilot Rapidly assess delivery health identify root causes of issues and implement corrective actions Drive clarity on scope sequencing dependencies and trade-offs in environments with evolving requirements Own delivery artifacts including integrated plans RAID logs milestone readiness and executive-level status reporting Governance & Executive Decision Enablement Establish lightweight effective governance suited to a fast-moving digital program Actively drive decision-making through steering forums and senior stakeholders Move decisions forward in imperfect conditions focusing on outcomes over process Balance delivery speed with appropriate risk management and production stability Stakeholder & Business Partnership Engage with Product Operations Finance Marketing IT and Support leaders as senior counterparts Translate technical and platform-driven topics into clear business-focused communication Build credibility and trust by grounding delivery decisions in operational reality Vendor & Partner Leadership Coordinate and course-correct third-party vendors and implementation partners Hold partners accountable to outcomes not just activity Navigate commercial and contractual boundaries pragmatically and professionally The role holds partners accountable for delivery outcomes while operating independently within agreed governance. Production Readiness Support & Adoption Ensure operational readiness support models and escalation paths are defined and functioning Coordinate hypercare issue triage and transition to steady-state ownership Partner with change and training leads to ensure adoption supports delivery outcomes This role is not responsible for Business-as-usual operations Ongoing people management or performance management Product ownership or long-term platform strategy beyond the agreed delivery scope Required skills Experience leading large-scale eCommerce transformation and platform modernization initiatives including migrations to platforms like BigCommerce. Strong enterprise program delivery experience managing complex cross-functional digital initiatives in live production environments. Ability to stabilize in-flight programs reduce ambiguity identify root causes and drive corrective actions quickly. Expertise in executive stakeholder management including escalation management steering committees and driving timely decisions. Proven capability managing cross-functional teams across Product Operations Finance Marketing IT Support and external vendors. Experience with operational readiness launch management hypercare and production support stabilization after go-live. Strong vendor and implementation partner management skills with accountability for delivery outcomes and dependency coordination. Skilled in integrated planning RAID management governance milestone tracking and executive status reporting . Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical topics into clear business-focused messaging. Pragmatic outcome-driven leadership style with strong judgment in fast-moving ambiguous and high-pressure transformation environments.
