The Position We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Network Engineer to design implement secure and support Panasonic's global enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Cisco enterprise networking and next-generation firewall technologies with the ability to independently troubleshoot complex networking issues across geographically distributed environments. This role requires strong technical ownership excellent analytical skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with global teams while supporting mission-critical network infrastructure. Responsibilities What We’re Looking For Design implement and support enterprise network infrastructure across global locations. Configure maintain and troubleshoot Cisco routing switching wireless and enterprise network technologies. Deploy administer and optimize Palo Alto Networks or Fortinet FortiGate firewalls. Perform advanced troubleshooting involving Layer 2/Layer 3 networking routing protocols VPNs and network security. Support highly available hybrid enterprise environments spanning on-premises infrastructure and Azure/AWS cloud platforms. Perform root cause analysis for network incidents and implement preventive improvements. Design and implement network upgrades refreshes and infrastructure expansion projects. Maintain network documentation diagrams operational procedures and technical standards. Collaborate with global infrastructure teams and provide remote support for geographically distributed sites. Participate in after-hours support and occasional travel as required. Qualifications 8–15 years of overall IT experience with at least 5 years in Network Engineer/Senior Network Engineer roles. Strong expertise in Cisco Enterprise Networking (Catalyst Nexus Routers Switching Routing). Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks (preferred) or Fortinet FortiGate firewalls. Strong understanding of TCP/IP VLANs STP HSRP OSPF BGP QoS DNS DHCP VPNs IPSec AAA RADIUS MFA and SSO. Experience supporting large-scale geographically distributed enterprise environments. Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills. Experience with Wireshark SolarWinds network monitoring and packet analysis tools. Understanding of Azure or AWS networking concepts. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
