This position offers flexibility for remote or hybrid work arrangements for the right candidate. Responsibilities Handle a diverse family law caseload including divorce custody support alimony property division and mediation matters Represent clients in negotiations mediations hearings and trial proceedings in New Jersey courts Draft pleadings motions agreements certifications and other legal documents Maintain regular and responsive communication with clients throughout the lifecycle of their matters Conduct legal research and provide clients with sound practical advice on complex family law issues Collaborate with firm attorneys and support staff to deliver high-quality client service Qualifications Active New Jersey bar admission required 2+ years of family law experience with demonstrated litigation and courtroom skills Strong legal writing and analytical skills Ability to manage an active caseload independently with professionalism and compassion Experience with divorce custody alimony and equitable distribution matters Mediation experience a plus Self-starter who thrives in a collaborative client-focused environment What We Offer The annual salary for this position is between $100000 and $145000. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market skills education experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
