We are seeking a Director of Finance to lead the financial strategy and operations of the company. Working remotely within the United States you will serve as the senior financial leader and a key executive partner owning everything from day-to-day accounting operations through long-range financial planning. This is a high-ownership role for a strategic hands-on finance executive who can bring structure discipline and commercial insight to a fast-growing consumer products and professional services business.
Lead the company's overall financial strategy planning and long-range forecasting Oversee all accounting operations including month-end and year-end close general ledger and financial reporting Develop and manage annual budgets rolling forecasts and scenario planning Manage cash flow working capital inventory financing and banking relationships Ensure compliance with GAAP federal and state tax obligations and relevant regulatory requirements Design and maintain internal controls financial governance frameworks and risk management policies Partner with executive leadership on pricing strategy margin analysis product economics and channel profitability Lead financial modeling and analysis to support strategic growth new product launches and market expansion Manage relationships with external auditors tax advisors legal counsel and financial institutions Oversee payroll and benefits administration in coordination with HR Build lead and develop the finance and accounting team as the company scales
10 or more years of progressive finance and accounting experience including a senior finance leadership role such as Director of Finance VP Finance or Controller Strong track record in financial strategy planning reporting and controls within a product-based business Experience in consumer products personal care beauty retail or a related industry Solid understanding of inventory accounting cost of goods and multi-channel revenue models Recognized accounting or finance qualification such as CPA CMA or MBA or equivalent experience Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling Experience with accounting or ERP systems such as NetSuite QuickBooks or similar Proven ability to operate and lead effectively in a fully remote capacity
Experience in skincare cosmetics pharmaceuticals or professional beauty Familiarity with eCommerce direct-to-consumer and wholesale distribution financial models Exposure to multi-entity or international operations Experience supporting company growth brand expansion or strategic partnerships Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting Finance or a related field
