Join us! eCommerce Tech Lead – SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) Location Remote POSITION SUMMARY Lead the technical development of SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) applications while remaining an active contributor to the codebase. Provide technical leadership to a team of developers by driving coding standards best practices and solution implementation. Collaborate with Product Owners Business Analysts QA DevOps and Solution Architects to deliver high-quality eCommerce solutions. Balance hands-on development with technical mentoring code quality and delivery ownership. RESPONSIBILITIES Design develop and enhance enterprise eCommerce applications using SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris). Serve as the technical lead for one or more Agile development teams. Develop complex features custom extensions integrations and reusable components. Translate functional and technical requirements into high-quality application code. Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. Mentor and support developers through technical guidance pair programming and knowledge sharing. Collaborate with architects to implement approved solution designs and technical standards. Estimate development effort and participate in sprint planning backlog refinement and release activities. Troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues across development testing and production environments. Optimize application performance scalability and maintainability. Work closely with QA to ensure comprehensive unit integration and functional testing. Support CI/CD pipelines deployment automation and release management. Contribute to technical documentation and development standards. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering Information Technology or a related field. 7–10 years of software development experience. 4+ years of hands-on SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) development experience. Proven experience leading development teams on enterprise eCommerce projects. Strong understanding of software engineering principles and secure coding practices. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Excellent problem-solving communication and collaboration skills. Technical knowledge Strong hands-on experience with SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) development. Proficiency in Java Spring Framework Spring MVC Spring Boot and RESTful APIs. Experience developing and customizing + Core Commerce Services + OCC APIs + Backoffice + CMS Components + Business Process Engine + CronJobs + Impex + FlexibleSearch + Solr Search & Navigation + Spartacus + Angular Experience building integrations with SAP and third-party systems using REST SOAP or Integration APIs. Strong knowledge of + Object-Oriented Programming + Design Patterns + Multithreading + Exception Handling + Performance Tuning Hands-on experience with Git Maven/Gradle Jenkins SonarQube and JUnit. Knowledge of CI/CD tools including Jenkins GitHub Actions. Preferred Qualifications SAP Commerce Cloud certification. Experience with SAP Composable Storefront (Spartacus). Exposure to Headless Commerce architecture. Knowledge of cloud-native development and containerized deployments. Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk Dynatrace or Kibana. The salary range for this opportunity is $116000-$180000. Base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region internal equity job related knowledge skills and experience among other factors.
