Senior Specialist – Oracle DBA & Java Application Support Location Mexico Work Model Remote Employment Type FTE Experience 7–10 Years Language Spanish – Must Have Role Summary We are seeking a Senior Oracle DBA with strong Java/J2EE Application Support experience to provide L2/production support for Oracle databases and Java applications across production and non-production environments. Key Responsibilities Administer and support Oracle 19c databases including health checks user management tablespaces and export/import. Perform RMAN backup/recovery and monitor Oracle Data Guard environments. Troubleshoot database performance replication connectivity and production issues. Support Oracle patching upgrades and migrations . Provide L2 support for Java/J2EE applications running on WebLogic Tomcat or JBoss . Troubleshoot application startup deployment JDBC connectivity and performance issues. Analyze database application and server logs including stack traces. Participate in RCA incident/problem management and SLA-based production support . Support deployments releases automation and scripting using Shell Python or SQL . Follow ITIL processes and participate in 24x7 on-call rotations . Required Skills 7–10 years of IT experience with strong Oracle DBA expertise. Hands-on experience with Oracle 19c RMAN and Data Guard . Strong Java/J2EE Application Support experience. Experience with WebLogic / Tomcat / JBoss . Strong troubleshooting of JDBC database application and production issues . Experience working on Linux/Windows environments. Knowledge of Shell/Python/SQL scripting . Strong ITIL Incident Problem and Change Management experience. Spanish-speaking is mandatory.
