Title Event & Alert Management Automation Engineer Location 100% Remote- India Duration 6-month contract (Potential to extend) Logline Experience needed with PagerDuty and Splunk On-Call (VictorOps) Role Summary Responsible for administering and optimizing enterprise event and alert management platforms while developing automation and scripting solutions to streamline alert routing escalation workflows and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Administer and optimize enterprise alert management platforms including Client On-Call PagerDuty and ServiceNow integrations Design and implement automation and scripting solutions to streamline alert routing escalation workflows and operational processes Develop and maintain API integrations webhooks and automation scripts to support large-scale platform configuration and migration Configure and manage services escalation policies teams and alert routing logic Analyze alert patterns and system telemetry to reduce alert noise and improve signal quality Refine platform rulesets escalation paths and routing logic based on operational metrics and performance monitoring Collaborate with IT operations engineering teams and business stakeholders to align alerting strategies with service ownership Support enterprise Event Management (EVM) initiatives including platform migration and operational governance Develop technical documentation runbooks and configuration standards Track and report alert KPIs and operational performance metrics Required Skills 4–6+ years experience with Client On-Call PagerDuty or similar incident management platforms Strong scripting and automation experience (Python Bash or similar) Experience with REST APIs webhooks and platform integrations Familiarity with ServiceNow incident workflows Experience managing alerting platforms in large enterprise environments Strong troubleshooting and data analysis skills
