Responsibilities Install configure and maintain Red Hat Linux servers. Monitor server performance availability and system health. Perform OS patching upgrades and vulnerability remediation. Configure and manage user accounts permissions and authentication. Troubleshoot Linux operating system network and application issues. Implement backup disaster recovery and high availability solutions. Manage storage systems file systems and LVM configurations. Configure and maintain DNS NFS SSH FTP Apache and related services. Support virtualization technologies such as VMware vSphere or Red Hat Virtualization. Develop shell scripts and automation using Bash Python or Ansible. Maintain system security compliance and audit standards. Support cloud environments such as Amazon Web Services Microsoft Azure. Create and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures. Participate in on-call support rotations and incident response activities. Qualifications Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux administration. Knowledge of Linux commands services and troubleshooting. Experience with shell scripting and automation tools. Understanding of TCP/IP networking firewalls and security. Experience with system monitoring tools. Knowledge of LDAP Active Directory integration and authentication methods. Familiarity with SAN/NAS storage technologies. Experience with virtualization and cloud platforms. Experience with containers and orchestration technologies. Preferred Skills Basic Shell scripting. Basic Networking Skills. CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies. Cloud-hosted Linux administration exposure is preferred where hybrid environments are in scope. Preferred Certifications Red Hat RHSCA RHCE Cloud certifications (AWS/Azure) Education Bachelor’s degree in computer science electronics engineering or related technical discipline. Eight (8) years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education. Clearance The ability to pass a Tier 2/Moderate Background Investigation.
