Censys is looking for a Business Systems Analyst to own and optimize our internal systems ecosystem—ensuring our tools are integrated adopted and driving real business value. This role sits at the intersection of systems operations and emerging AI capabilities. You will evaluate how our tools work together across the company (Sales Marketing Product People Finance) eliminate redundancies improve workflows and unlock efficiency through better integrations and intelligent automation. In this role you will act as a systems optimizer and operator constantly identifying opportunities to simplify connect and enhance how work gets done. What You Will Do Audit and continuously evaluate the company’s systems landscape to identify gaps redundancies and inefficiencies Define and maintain a clear systems architecture ensuring tools are purpose-built and not duplicative Drive consolidation and rationalization of tools where appropriate Optimize internal integrations and bidirectional capabilities of those integrations Work with tool owners to improve data integrity consistency accessibility and reporting across platforms Drive end-user adoption of key systems through training documentation and process improvements Partner with stakeholders to ensure tools are configured to match real workflows not vice versa Monitor usage and identify opportunities to improve engagement and efficiency Identify opportunities to leverage AI capabilities within existing tools (e.g. CRM ATS support systems internal platforms) Evaluate and pilot new AI-driven tools or features that improve productivity and decision-making Partner with cross-functional teams to embed AI into day-to-day workflows in a practical scalable way Who You Are 7+ years of experience in business systems operations or IT roles Strong experience with leading SaaS tools and systems ecosystems (e.g. Salesforce HubSpot Greenhouse Rippling Zendesk etc.) Proven track record of improving workflows integrating systems and driving tool adoption Experience working with APIs integrations and automation tools (e.g. Zapier Workato Tray or similar) Familiarity with AI capabilities in modern SaaS tools and curiosity to explore new applications Highly analytical and systems-oriented—able to see how pieces connect across the organization Strong communicator who can translate between technical and non-technical stakeholders Comfortable operating in a fast-paced evolving environment with shifting priorities Bias toward action—focused on solving problems not just identifying them What Success Looks Like Systems are streamlined integrated and clearly owned Redundant tools are eliminated and costs are optimized Data flows seamlessly across systems with high integrity Teams are actively using and benefiting from core tools AI capabilities are thoughtfully embedded into workflows driving measurable efficiency gains For high cost of living areas in the US (San Francisco / Seattle / NYC) the expected salary range for this position is $134000 - $154000 plus bonus eligibility and equity. For all other locations in the US the expected salary range for this position is $114000 USD - $130000 USD plus bonus eligibility and equity. For candidates being considered outside of the US location specific market data will be evaluated and discussed during the interview process. Job level and actual compensation will be decided based on factors including but not limited to individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process (including skills and prior relevant experience potential impact and scope of role) market demands and specific work location. The listed range is a guideline and the range for this role may be modified. For roles that are available to be filled remotely the pay range is localized according to employee work location by a factor of between 83% and 100% of range.
