Role Description The Financial Controller is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing the company’s accounting and financial reporting functions. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and reviewing financial statements managing the month-end and year-end close processes and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements. The role involves analyzing financial results monitoring budgets and forecasts and providing insights to support strategic decision-making. The Financial Controller will also maintain internal controls supervise or coordinate with accounting staff and external partners and assist with audits and tax-related activities. Collaboration with leadership on financial planning cash flow management and process improvement initiatives is a key component of this role. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Accounting and Financial Statements skills including experience with general ledger management and period-end close. Candidates should possess solid Finance and Financial Reporting skills with the ability to prepare accurate reports and support regulatory and management reporting needs. Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills to interpret financial data identify trends and recommend actionable insights. Relevant professional qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Accounting Finance or a related field CPA or equivalent certification is preferred. Experience in asset management investment management or a related financial services environment is beneficial. Proficiency with accounting and ERP software strong Excel skills and familiarity with internal control frameworks. Excellent communication skills ability to work independently in a remote setting and strong organizational and time management capabilities.
