Role Python Full Stack Engineer Title AVP/VP Location Montreal QC (Day 1 Onsite/Hybrid) – Fulltime Mode of Work 3 days/week onsite required Required Experience 6+ years Role Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Python Full Stack Engineer to design develop and maintain scalable applications across both backend and frontend layers. The ideal candidate brings strong Python expertise hands‑on experience with modern frontend frameworks and the ability to build secure high‑performance systems for enterprise‑grade environments. This role requires strong problem‑solving skills clean coding practices and the ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced setting. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain end‑to‑end full stack applications using Python on the backend and modern JavaScript frameworks on the frontend. Build scalable APIs microservices and backend components with a focus on performance and reliability. Design intuitive responsive and user‑friendly UI components. Integrate applications with databases cloud services and third‑party APIs. Participate in architecture discussions solution design and technical decision‑making. Write clean maintainable and testable code following best practices. Troubleshoot issues across the stack and optimize application performance. Collaborate with product owners QA DevOps and other engineering teams to deliver high‑quality releases. Required Skills & Experience Strong hands‑on experience with Python (Flask Django FastAPI or similar frameworks). Solid understanding of frontend technologies such as React Angular or Vue.js. Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices. Strong proficiency in JavaScript HTML5 CSS3 and responsive UI development. Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL MySQL MongoDB etc.). Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS Azure or GCP). Experience with Git CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows. Strong understanding of software engineering principles design patterns and best practices. Experience in implementing pipelines for Data Science projects Strong understanding of model creation and Data Science concepts Knowledge of Knowledge Graphs and Generative AI Experience working with Micro-services architecture Hands-on experience with Graph databases preferred Preferred technologies • Neo4J • GraphDB • Neptune • Tiger Graph • Chroma DB • Allegro Graph Nice-to-Have Experience in BFSI trading platforms or capital markets . Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker Kubernetes). Familiarity with message queues (Kafka RabbitMQ). Exposure to authentication frameworks (OAuth2 JWT SSO).
