We're a growing owner and manager of medical office buildings and healthcare-focused properties nationwide and we're looking for an Accounting Manager to help lead the financial reporting function for a meaningful slice of our portfolio. This isn't a role where you'll be buried in review queues with no visibility. You'll own the accuracy and quality of reporting for an assigned group of properties lead CAM reconciliation and audit readiness efforts and play a hands-on role in bringing new properties into our systems as we grow. You'll work closely with our VP of Accounting and Accounting Director — not as a layer beneath them but as the person they rely on to keep the team's output sharp consistent and audit-ready. What You'll Do Financial Reporting & Review Review journal entries and monthly financial statements for an assigned property portfolio ensuring accuracy and consistency across the team's work Prepare financial packages for a select group of properties owning timeliness and quality end to end Spot discrepancies and risks early and drive process improvements that make the whole team more efficient CAM Reconciliation Review CAM reconciliations prepared by senior accountants against lease terms and serve as the team's go-to resource on tricky lease interpretation Get hands-on with reconciliations yourself when needed — this is a role for someone who still likes being in the details not just reviewing from a distance Validate recoverable expense pools exclusions and tenant allocations across a range of commercial lease structures Audit Support & Year-End Reporting Bring your audit background (internal or external either works) to strengthen documentation and internal controls across the portfolio Compile and deliver year-end audit packages and partner across teams to keep audit readiness a year-round habit rather than a fire drill Yardi & Property Onboarding Work daily in Yardi Voyager and lead the onboarding of new properties — chart of accounts lease data system setup — as we add to the portfolio Partner with property management to make each transition clean What You Bring 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with meaningful exposure to commercial real estate. Healthcare real estate or medical office building experience is a strong plus not a strict requirement. Bachelor's degree in Accounting Finance or a related field plus the experience above (no advanced degree required) Experience reviewing journal entries and financial statements at a senior or supervisory level Audit experience — internal or external — with comfort preparing and reviewing audit support Hands-on Yardi Voyager experience prior involvement in a Yardi implementation is a plus Familiarity with NNN modified gross and CAM reconciliation structures Strong attention to detail and the independence to manage multiple priorities well in a remote setting Logistics Location Fully remote — you just need to live in Georgia North Carolina Tennessee Indiana Ohio or Alabama Reports to VP of Accounting with close day-to-day collaboration alongside the Accounting Director and senior accounting team Compensation Competitive commensurate with experience
