About The Role We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented User Experience Researcher to join our dynamic team at Dscout. In this role you will be responsible for designing conducting and analyzing user research studies that inform product development and strategic decision-making. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers designers and engineers to translate user insights into actionable recommendations. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies excellent communication skills and a passion for uncovering meaningful user stories that drive innovation and improve customer experiences. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction Psychology Sociology Anthropology or a related field. Proven experience in user experience research with a strong portfolio demonstrating past projects and methodologies used. Expertise in a variety of research methods including interviews surveys usability testing and diary studies. Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear insights. Excellent communication and presentation skills capable of conveying findings to both technical and non-technical audiences. Experience working in agile environments and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. Proficiency with research tools and software such as UserTesting Lookback Optimal Workshop or similar platforms. Responsibilities Design and execute comprehensive user research studies to gather insights on user needs behaviors and pain points. Develop research plans questionnaires and interview guides tailored to project goals. Conduct interviews usability tests and field studies to collect qualitative and quantitative data. Analyze research findings identify patterns and generate actionable insights to inform product design and strategy. Collaborate with product teams to integrate user feedback into design iterations and development cycles. Create detailed reports personas journey maps and other artifacts to communicate research findings effectively. Advocate for user-centered design principles within the organization and promote best practices in research. Stay current with industry trends emerging methodologies and tools to continually enhance research practices.
