Job role Platform Engineer Location Hyderabad Mission/Purpose The Endpoint Platform Engineering role is critical to supporting ongoing endpoint device management operations while driving key transformation initiatives. This position requires deep expertise in modern endpoint management compliance security and large-scale deployment programs. The Platform Engineer will play a pivotal role in the high-priority migration of more than 50000 endpoints from SCCM to Intune delivering the project within aggressive timelines while ensuring operational stability security and user experience throughout the transition. Essential Functions Extensive hands-on experience with Windows Server Group policies Azure Intune SCCM and Endpoint Security platforms. Strong knowledge of Active Directory Microsoft Entra ID DHCP DNS and networking fundamentals with the ability to troubleshoot complex endpoint infrastructure issues. Partner with global Engineering and Operations teams to drive project execution maintain operational excellence and ensure alignment across regions. Analyze existing processes identify optimization opportunities lead initiatives to improve efficiency scalability and service delivery. Successfully balance operational responsibilities with strategic initiatives demonstrating ownership and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Contribute to endpoint modernization and transformation programs through technical leadership innovation and continuous process improvement. Qualification Bachelor’s degree in Electronics/Computer/IT Engineering or related field. The candidate should hold Microsoft certification in one or more of the following technologies Windows Azure Endpoint Administration Mobile Device Management (MDM) Intune and SCCM. Work Experience Minimum 8+ years of overall IT experience. Minimum 5+ years of endpoint management and engineering experience. Minimum 3+ years of hands-on Microsoft Intune administration experience. Proven experience managing large-scale enterprise endpoint environments. Experience supporting or leading SCCM-to-Intune migration projects. Experience with enterprise device lifecycle management endpoint security and compliance operations. Must have (essential) Strong expertise in Microsoft Intune Microsoft Endpoint Manager Windows Autopilot and Mobile Device Management (MDM) technologies. Solid knowledge of Microsoft SCCM/MECM including co-management capabilities and hybrid endpoint management scenarios. Hands-on experience in designing and deploying device configuration profiles compliance policies security baselines application deployments and software update strategies. Strong understanding of Windows endpoint management including patch management application lifecycle management and operating system deployment. Experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) Conditional Access policies and Zero Trust security principles & PowerShell scripting. Candidates must possess demonstrated experience in designing implementing and supporting enterprise endpoint management solutions. Proven success in large-scale Intune migration programs endpoint security and compliance management and driving modernization initiatives while maintaining operational reliability is highly desirable. Working knowledge of endpoint security solutions including Microsoft Defender endpoint protection technologies and vulnerability management tools. Service-oriented with the flexibility to work the shift enabling effective collaboration and coverage across different geographical regions. Excellent written verbal and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with global teams and stakeholders. Desirable (good to have) Experience managing enterprise-scale endpoint environments with 30000+ devices. Familiarity with AI-driven endpoint management Microsoft Copilot and automation frameworks. Automation skills using Graph API integration JSON and automation best practices. Remote technical support in global enterprise environment.
