Job Description

Wifi Engineer - Remote role (Travel required) Remote Role Travel Needed Yes

Key Responsibilities

Conduct onsite wireless site surveys (predictive passive active and validation surveys) Perform RF analysis and spectrum troubleshooting using Ekahau Sidekick II and related tools Design and validate wireless network solutions using Ekahau Pro / Ekahau AI Create high-quality heatmaps reports and documentation for customer deliverables Troubleshoot wireless performance issues including interference coverage gaps roaming and capacity constraints Develop desktop wireless designs based on floor plans requirements and predictive modeling Work across multiple OEM platforms (Cisco Aruba Juniper/Mist Extreme Ruckus etc.) Collaborate with network engineers project managers and clients to ensure successful deployments Provide post-deployment validation and optimization recommendations Maintain up-to-date knowledge of wireless standards (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be)

Required Qualifications

3–7+ years of experience in wireless networking with strong fieldwork background Hands-on experience performing wireless site surveys in enterprise environments Proficiency with Ekahau Pro (AI) and Ekahau Sidekick II Strong understanding of RF fundamentals (SNR RSSI channel planning interference etc.) Experience designing wireless networks for voice data and location services Familiarity with major WLAN OEMs (Cisco Aruba Mist Ruckus Extreme etc.) Ability to interpret architectural drawings and create predictive designs Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills Willingness to travel for onsite surveys and deployments

Preferred Qualifications

Ekahau Certified Survey Engineer (ECSE) or equivalent CWNA CWDP CWSP or CCNP Wireless certifications Experience with spectrum analysis tools Knowledge of network infrastructure (switching routing PoE requirements) Experience with healthcare campus warehouse or high-density environments Key
