NPH is adding a Corporate System Administrator to serve our patients and hospital teams across the organization. The Corporate System Administrator is primarily responsible to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the Company’s national help desk operations. This position will interact daily with end-users to provide basic computer support troubleshoot and direct unresolved issues to next level of support personnel including a third part help desk. The individual will provide other IT-related support services at directed.

Provide technical support and administration for desktops laptops tablets workstations printers mobile devices telephony and other end-user technology across the organization. Administer and support Microsoft 365 Active Directory Microsoft Entra ID Intune clinical applications and other enterprise systems. Manage user accounts access permissions password resets multifactor authentication and privileged access in accordance with security policies. Administer physical and virtual servers storage databases domain services DNS DHCP file/print services and clinical interfaces. Manage and maintain LAN WAN wireless VPN firewall network segmentation and remote-access infrastructure. Monitor and maintain system availability performance capacity security and connectivity responding to alerts and resolving issues as needed. Implement and maintain endpoint security vulnerability management patching malware protection email security web filtering and security monitoring. Support HIPAA Security Rule requirements including security incident response risk assessments audit logging ePHI protection and assigned remediation activities. Administer enterprise backup and disaster recovery solutions including backup verification restore testing and participation in clinical downtime and disaster recovery exercises. Maintain accurate technology asset inventories system documentation network diagrams configuration standards licensing records and operational procedures. Follow established change management practices for production and clinical systems and support the implementation of infrastructure projects and upgrades. Provide infrastructure-level support for electronic health records clinical applications imaging/DICOM systems and networked medical devices collaborating with Biomedical Engineering as needed. Coordinate with managed service providers technology vendors and telecommunications providers to resolve issues complete projects and ensure contracted services meet expectations. Provide help desk and technical support including ticket resolution escalations account issues and end-user troubleshooting. Maintain current knowledge of technology cybersecurity healthcare regulations HIPAA requirements and industry best practices. Travel to NPH facilities as assigned and participate in after-hours or weekend support as needed. Maintain confidentiality and comply with applicable federal and state regulations HIPAA requirements organizational policies and NPH’s Compliance Program and Code of Conduct.
Associate degree in Information Technology or a related field required equivalent experience may be considered. CompTIA A+ certification preferred. 3–5 years of IT experience required 5+ years preferred. Healthcare IT experience strongly preferred. Working knowledge of Windows Server Active Directory Microsoft Entra ID Group Policy DNS/DHCP and Microsoft 365 administration. Experience with server virtualization enterprise storage backups LAN/WAN/VLAN wireless firewalls VPNs and network security. Knowledge of multifactor authentication endpoint security vulnerability and patch management logging and least-privilege access. Experience with PowerShell or comparable scripting and automation tools preferred. Working knowledge of HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules. Familiarity with electronic health record infrastructure PACS/DICOM imaging and networked medical devices preferred. Experience working with managed service providers and technology vendors preferred. Strong problem-solving analytical organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize issues that may impact patient care. Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical clinical and administrative staff. Ability to work independently and collaboratively manage multiple priorities and maintain accuracy and professionalism in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work after hours and weekends as needed including some remote support.
