Full-stack Web Developer

We are looking for an experienced web developer to take responsibility for completing maintaining and managing an existing website. This is strictly an independent contractor position. Applicants must live in Istanbul and be able to issue invoices in Türkiye.

Responsibilities

- Review and understand the existing codebase. - Complete outstanding development work. - Maintain and improve the website after launch. - Manage deployments updates monitoring backups and technical incidents. - Diagnose and fix production problems. - Maintain integrations with payment authentication email and other service providers. - Improve security accessibility performance and search visibility. - Test important user and administrative workflows before release. - Keep technical documentation and operating instructions current. - Communicate progress risks and costs clearly.

Qualifications

- Professional experience building and maintaining production web applications. - Strong knowledge of Next.js React TypeScript and PostgreSQL. - Experience with authentication permissions payments APIs and third-party integrations. - Experience managing production deployments and database migrations. - Good understanding of application security and customer-data protection. - Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical problems. - Professional Turkish and working English. - Residence in Istanbul. - Ability to work under a services agreement and issue invoices in Türkiye. Experience with Vercel Neon Better Auth automated testing accessibility KVKK or GDPR would be useful. Contract conditions - This is a project-based independent contractor role not an employment position. - Work will be performed remotely within Istanbul. - The contract may continue for up to one year depending on the project’s needs and the contractor’s performance. - The parties will agree on fair compensation before the contract begins. - The services agreement will cover the scope of work deliverables payment terms confidentiality intellectual-property ownership availability and production-support expectations.
