Job Description

oomi provides CRM and digital solutions to professional bodies trade associations and other membership organisations across the UK. We're growing and are looking for an experienced Project Manager to add to our tean and take ownership of the successful delivery of our client implementation projects. This isn't a role for someone who simply maintains a project plan and organises meetings. We're looking for a PM who takes genuine ownership of delivery someone who knows what is happening across their projects spots problems early asks difficult questions when necessary and drives projects through to successful completion.   The role You'll manage multiple client software implementation projects from mobilisation through to go-live working closely with our clients and our Business Analysis Engineering Data QA and wider delivery teams. You'll be accountable for ensuring projects have clear plans responsibilities and success criteria – and that risks dependencies decisions and changes are actively managed throughout delivery. You'll also be an important part of improving how oomi delivers projects as we continue to strengthen and scale our delivery capability.

What you'll be doing

Own client implementation projects from initiation through to successful go-live. Build and maintain realistic project plans milestones and delivery schedules. Establish clear project scope objectives responsibilities and success criteria. Coordinate internal delivery teams and client stakeholders. Maintain strong governance around risks actions issues dependencies and decisions. Identify emerging problems early and drive them through to resolution. Manage scope and change control ensuring the commercial implications of changes are understood. Monitor project budgets and resource requirements. Run effective project meetings and provide clear concise status reporting. Challenge constructively where commitments decisions or actions are putting delivery at risk. Ensure clients understand what is required from them and hold both client and internal teams accountable for agreed actions. Work closely with Business Analysts to turn agreed requirements and scope into an executable delivery plan. Capture lessons learned and contribute to continually improving oomi's implementation methodology.

What we're looking for

You'll probably have at least three years' experience managing software SaaS or digital implementation projects . More importantly you'll be someone who Takes ownership rather than waiting for problems to be escalated. Is highly organised and comfortable managing several projects and competing priorities. Can quickly understand where a project really stands rather than relying solely on status reports. Is comfortable challenging clients and colleagues constructively. Communicates clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Understands project budgets scope management and change control. Can identify risks early and turn them into practical actions. Is confident working with distributed and cross-functional teams. Understands the fundamentals of agile software delivery. Has strong commercial judgement and attention to detail. Experience delivering CRM CMS or other business-critical SaaS platforms would be particularly valuable. Experience within professional bodies trade associations charities or other membership organisations would be useful but isn't essential. PRINCE2 APM or similar project management qualifications are welcome but we're more interested in evidence that you can successfully deliver complex software projects. Why oomi? Location

UK-based. You'll need a suitable home-working environment and be willing to travel for client meetings and company events when required.
