Contractor Opportunity Clinical Data Services Representative Engagement Type Contractor via Third-Party Supplier Contracting Entity Accenture Supplier of Record BCforward Start Date 9/14/2026 Duration 12 Months with potential for extension About the Role We are seeking qualified contractors to fulfil the role of a External Data Manager to support clinical development programs by overseeing the quality structure standardization and integration of external clinical trial data. This role serves as a key liaison between data management study teams and external vendors to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality data from multiple sources including biomarkers wearable devices imaging IRT and eCOA platforms. The ideal candidate brings strong external data management expertise a deep understanding of clinical trial data standards and the ability to collaborate across functions to drive operational excellence in a fast-paced Life Sciences environment. This position requires a blend of strategic thinking collaboration and execution excellence that drive measurable business outcomes. This Remote opportunity is open to individuals located in the United States. Additionally the role requires access to reliable internet and the ability to manage all responsibilities from a home office. The project hours of operations will be Monday – Friday in which candidate must be available to work an 8-hour shift between 800 AM to 500 PM Eastern Time. Contractors will be engaged and paid by a third-party payroll supplier BCforward which will serve as the employer of record for tax and compliance purposes. Key Responsibilities Core Duties Lead the development maintenance and oversight of Data Transfer Specifications (DTS) to ensure external data providers deliver data in the required format and structure. Act as the primary point of contact for external data providers study teams and internal stakeholders regarding external data requirements quality and integration. Monitor external data deliveries across multiple studies and programs ensuring timelines milestones and data quality expectations are met. Support data reconciliation data structure investigations and issue resolution activities while ensuring compliance with industry and organizational data standards. Provide guidance and training to stakeholders on DTS processes external data workflows and supporting documentation. Promote adherence to CDISC standards and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to non-EDC and external data management. Deliverables or Project Scope Author and manage DTS documentation for external data sources including biomarkers wearable devices imaging IRT and eCOA data. Ensure external datasets are structured standardized and compliant with established study and regulatory requirements. Track vendor deliverables performance metrics quality indicators compliance commitments and escalation actions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the creation and implementation of new data tests and validation processes. Participate as an extended member of Clinical Trial Teams supporting successful study start-up conduct and close-out activities. Deliver accurate complete and audit-ready external data to support clinical study reporting and analysis. Minimum of 3+ years of clinical data management experience including management of external clinical trial data sources. Hands-on experience developing and maintaining Data Transfer Specifications (DTS) and working with external data vendors. Demonstrated knowledge of clinical research processes clinical trial data flows and data reconciliation activities. Experience working with industry data standards including CDISC SDTM and related clinical data management best practices. Strong analytical problem-solving organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel Word Outlook and Teams. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's or advanced degree in a scientific technical or healthcare-related discipline. Experience supporting Phase I-IV clinical studies within the pharmaceutical biotechnology or contract research organization (CRO) environment. Knowledge of external data domains including biomarkers imaging wearables IRT and eCOA platforms. Experience collaborating with global study teams clinical operations biostatistics programming and external technology vendors. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry guidance related to clinical data management and data integrity. Experience contributing to process improvement initiatives SOP development or implementation of new external data management solutions. Ability to work independently while effectively managing stakeholder relationships across multiple functions and geographies.
