About the Role John Marshall Media is hiring 2 Post-Production Managers for a 3-month temporary engagement with the possibility of transitioning to a full-time role. This is a key position responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the post-production process for audiobook projects from assignment through final delivery ensuring every project meets JMM's quality standards and client expectations. You'll work directly with clients narrators directors and a team of assistants contract workers audio editors and sound designers to keep multiple projects moving on time and on budget. What You'll Do Oversee production on multiple audiobook projects simultaneously from assignment to final delivery Assign and delegate work to assistants and contract workers Review and provide constructive feedback on audio editors' and sound designers' work to maintain consistent quality Serve as a professional friendly point of contact for clients narrators and directors Keep clients informed of project progress potential issues and timing constraints Master audiobooks to a variety of technical specifications Make corrections to audio files using pickups edit fixes and tools such as iZotope RX Maintain and update project tracking forms as needed Report to your manager via phone email and Microsoft Teams What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Audio Engineering or a related field (or equivalent practical experience) Solid understanding of audio editing sound design and quality control Technical proficiency in audio mastering tools and software Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and manage multiple deadlines Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong attention to detail and a keen ear for audio quality Analytical and problem-solving mindset Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (tracking projects and resources) Self-motivated and organized comfortable working independently in a remote environment Willingness to learn and adapt Details This is a temporary 3-month position at $18.00/hour with the possibility of extension or conversion to full-time based on performance and business needs Fully remote reliable high-speed internet required 2 positions available John Marshall Media is an equal opportunity employer.
