Job Overview Mandatory Skills - SONiC(software for open networking in the cloud) and Wireless Networking We are seeking a skilled and proactive Network Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining supporting and optimizing our organization's network infrastructure to ensure seamless connectivity and security. This role offers an opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies in a dynamic environment supporting both on-premises and cloud-based systems. The Network Administrator will play a vital role in implementing network solutions troubleshooting issues and ensuring the integrity of our IT operations. Duties Manage and maintain network hardware and software including routers switches firewalls and wireless access points. Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues promptly to minimize downtime. Implement and support cloud-based solutions using platforms such as AWS Azure and Oracle Cloud. Configure and support operating systems including Windows Linux and other enterprise environments. Develop and enforce security protocols to protect organizational data and prevent cyber threats. Collaborate with development teams to support DevOps practices integrating Java Python SQL and other programming tools. Perform regular system updates patches and backups to ensure system stability and security. Document network configurations procedures and policies for ongoing maintenance and compliance purposes. Assist in planning network expansions or upgrades aligned with organizational growth strategies. Skills Strong knowledge of operating systems such as Windows and Linux environments. Experience with cloud platforms including AWS Azure and Oracle Cloud services. Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Java for automation tasks. Solid understanding of SQL databases for managing data flow within the network infrastructure. Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices to streamline deployment processes. Ability to configure and troubleshoot network hardware including routers switches firewalls and wireless devices. Knowledge of cybersecurity principles to safeguard sensitive information across all platforms. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical issues efficiently. Strong communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and documenting technical procedures effectively.
