Job Summary Join our dynamic Network Operations team as a Meraki Network Operations Specialist where you'll be at the forefront of managing and optimizing our extensive network infrastructure. Duties Monitor and maintain network infrastructure including LAN WAN data centers and cloud environments such as AWS and Azure to ensure optimal performance and security. Configure deploy and troubleshoot Cisco Meraki devices Cisco routers switches firewalls (Cisco ASA) and other network hardware to support business operations. Implement and manage network security protocols including VPNs IPsec SSL/TLS encryption PKI LDAP authentication Cisco ISE and IDS/IPS systems to safeguard organizational data. Manage routing protocols such as OSPF BGP EIGRP MPLS to ensure reliable data transmission across diverse network architectures. Automate network management tasks using scripting languages like Python Bash shell scripting PowerShell and tools like Ansible for efficient system administration. Conduct network analysis using tools like SolarWinds Splunk PRTG and SolarWinds to monitor system health and troubleshoot issues proactively. Collaborate within an Agile environment to design scalable network architecture solutions that support high availability and disaster recovery strategies. Requirements Proven experience in network engineering or network support roles with a focus on enterprise-level infrastructure. Strong understanding of computer networking fundamentals including TCP/IP DNS DHCP NFS LDAP and network protocols such as BGP EIGRP OSPF. Hands-on experience with Cisco networking equipment (routers switches) Cisco ASA firewalls Juniper devices and SDLC methodologies. Familiarity with virtualization platforms like vSphere (VMware) Citrix environments and containerization technologies. Knowledge of operating systems including Linux distributions (Debian CentOS Ubuntu) Windows Server/Client OSes (macOS included). Experience with cloud services such as AWS or Azure for deploying scalable virtualized environments. Skills in scripting (Python or Shell Scripting) for automation of routine tasks experience with Ansible is a plus. Understanding of high availability configurations using load balancing techniques and SAN storage solutions. Ability to manage network security measures including SSL/TLS encryption VPNs (IPsec) PKI certificates and authentication protocols like LDAP. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with strong communication abilities comfortable working in fast-paced Agile teams.
