Position Overview Job Title Remote Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable (AP/AR) Accountant Location Fully Remote We are seeking a detail-oriented self-driven AP/AR Accountant to manage our core transactional accounting operations remotely. In this role you will own the end-to-end accounts payable and accounts receivable cycles ensuring financial accuracy timely processing and seamless cash flow visibility. Key ResponsibilitiesAccounts Payable (AP) Receive verify and code vendor invoices accurately. Process and post supplier invoices efficiently into the accounting system (MYOB Acumatica). Manage payment runs and resolve any discrepancies between invoices purchase orders and vendor statements. Accounts Receivable (AR) Maintain the accounts receivable ledger by applying incoming customer payments to open invoices and matching receipts. Monitor customer accounts for overdue balances and manage follow-ups professionally. General Ledger & Month-End Support Perform weekly bank reconciliations to ensure all cash movements are accurately accounted for. Prepare review and process month-end journal entries (e.g. prepayments accruals and depreciation). Assist with ad-hoc financial reporting and audit preparation as required. Requirements & Qualifications Education Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. Experience Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in full-function AP/AR and general accounting. Software Proficiency Experience using MYOB Acumatica is highly regarded. Technical Skills Strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping bank reconciliations and month-end journal processing.
