Volunteer Fundraising Officer (Remote) – Hearts4Cats CIC Location Fully remote Time commitment Approximately 2 hours per week Type Volunteer role About Hearts4Cats Hearts4Cats is a grassroots animal welfare organisation dedicated to improving the lives of stray cats through rescue veterinary support feeding programmes and Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) initiatives. Across 7 missions we have Neutered 45 cats to help reduce suffering and prevent further overpopulation Rescued 25 cats and provided essential care and support We are now looking for an experienced Fundraising Volunteer to help us identify funding opportunities and support our next stage of growth. The role As a Fundraising Volunteer you will support Hearts4Cats by Researching suitable grant opportunities from trusts foundations and other funding sources Identifying grants aligned with our animal welfare work Supporting the preparation and submission of grant applications Helping us develop our fundraising pipeline and increase our chances of securing funding About you We are looking for someone who Has previous experience with grant research and/or grant applications Is confident researching funding opportunities and understanding grant criteria Has strong written communication skills Is organised reliable and able to work independently remotely Is passionate about animal welfare and making a positive impact What we offer A fully remote flexible volunteering opportunity The chance to gain further fundraising experience within a growing grassroots organisation A friendly and supportive working environment The opportunity to make a direct difference to the lives of vulnerable cats Priority consideration for future paid roles if Hearts4Cats secures funding for staff positions This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to use their fundraising skills to help a small organisation grow and expand its impact.
