Specific Duties &

Responsibilities

Develops and builds new version of middleware technologies running on Linux and or AIX Platforms Builds and supports Middleware Technologies (Oracle Traffic Director Weblogic Oracle Fusion Middleware Apache Tomcat JBOSS ControlM MOVEiT etc.) Installations of Software & Binary packages and upgrades Middleware Provides technical support of Development Test and Production environments Provides input for middleware technologies design standards Supports the installation of application releases into Test environments including delivery of container build scripts Provides input to low-level designs Identifies issues affecting customer service and resolve them Provides build requirement for VMs and/or server set-up Contributes to the development of documentation and standards Migrates Middleware Infrastructure to new versions and support the migration of applications by development teams Provides inputs in estimating project builds Liaises with application teams regarding Middleware (e.g. Weblogic) Code of Connection and integration issues

Qualifications

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology Computer Engineering or a related field. At least 3–5 years of experience in Middleware Administration Middleware Engineering or a related infrastructure support role. Hands-on experience installing configuring administering and supporting middleware technologies such as Oracle WebLogic Server Oracle Traffic Director Oracle Fusion Middleware Apache Tomcat JBoss/WildFly Control-M MOVEit Experience working with Linux and/or IBM AIX operating systems. Strong knowledge of middleware installation configuration patching upgrades and performance tuning. Experience supporting Development Test UAT and Production environments. Familiarity with application deployment processes release management and CI/CD pipelines. Experience creating and maintaining container build scripts and supporting application deployments. Knowledge of virtualization technologies and server provisioning including defining VM and infrastructure requirements. Understanding of middleware architecture application integration and connectivity concepts. Experience troubleshooting middleware application connectivity and performance-related issues. Ability to contribute to technical documentation operational standards and low-level solution designs. Experience supporting middleware migration and platform upgrade initiatives. Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with development infrastructure and application support teams. Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. Bash Shell Python or similar) is an advantage. Familiarity with ITIL processes DevOps practices and cloud platforms (AWS Azure or OCI) is a plus.
