As a Senior Project Control Engineer you will play a key role in ensuring the successful financial and operational performance of large complex projects from initiation through completion. Collaborate with program managers and cross-functional teams including finance contracts billing subcontracts and operations to ensure business objectives financial plans and project goals are achieved. Develop maintain and monitor Estimates at Completion (EAC) Estimates to Complete (ETC) financial forecasts and quarterly planning activities to support accurate project performance management. Participate in project risk management by maintaining risk registers assessing cost and schedule impacts supporting contingency planning and identifying mitigation strategies. Analyze project performance through variance reporting revenue profitability backlog cash flow and risk/opportunity assessments while validating financial data accuracy. Prepare meaningful metrics dashboards and management reports that provide timely insights for project stakeholders and leadership. Assess the financial impact of project changes schedule adjustments and evolving business requirements to support informed decision-making. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business Administration Finance Engineering Construction Management or a related field. 3–5+ years of experience in project controls cost engineering financial planning project management support or a related discipline. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel forecasting tools Power BI and the Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with project forecasting financial analysis budgeting reporting and performance monitoring. Knowledge of project scheduling principles and risk management methodologies. Familiarity with Costpoint Cognos Oracle EPM Primavera ERP systems or Earned Value Management (EVM) methodologies is considered an advantage. Strong analytical organizational and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
