Who You Are You are a hands-on automation engineer and AI power user who enjoys building solutions not just talking about them. You have a strong technical foundation and are comfortable writing Python working with APIs integrating business systems and leveraging AI to solve real operational problems. You enjoy taking repetitive manual processes and transforming them into reliable automated workflows. Whether it's building AI-powered assistants scripting integrations automating reporting or developing internal tools you're motivated by making organizations more efficient. You're naturally curious continuously learning and excited to experiment with emerging AI technologies while maintaining production-quality solutions. You work well independently communicate effectively with non-technical users and take ownership of projects from concept through deployment. What You'll Do AI Strategy & Implementation - Identify evaluate and implement practical AI solutions that improve operational efficiency across recruiting patient experience reporting communications and administrative workflows. Automation Development - Design build test and maintain production-grade automations using Python AI APIs workflow automation platforms and custom integrations to eliminate manual work. Software Development & Scripting - Develop internal utilities scripts and automation tools using Python and related technologies to streamline business operations and support organizational growth. Systems Integration - Build and maintain integrations between business systems using REST APIs webhooks authentication methods and automation platforms. AI Tool Development - Develop AI-powered assistants prompt libraries chatbots document processors workflow agents and internal productivity tools utilizing current large language models and AI services. Browser Automation - Develop browser automation solutions using tools such as Playwright Selenium or similar frameworks to automate repetitive web-based tasks. Workflow Optimization - Analyze existing operational processes and redesign them through automation to improve efficiency reduce errors and eliminate unnecessary manual effort. Reporting & Analytics - Build dashboards automated reporting systems and business intelligence tools that provide actionable operational insights. Documentation & SOP Development - Document automation solutions workflows system architecture and operational procedures to support maintainability and team adoption. Research & Innovation - Continuously evaluate emerging AI models automation platforms and productivity tools to identify opportunities that improve organizational performance. Training & Support - Train internal users on automation solutions AI tools and technology best practices while supporting successful implementation across departments. Quality Assurance - Monitor automations and integrations for reliability data integrity security and operational accuracy while troubleshooting issues as they arise. Project Management - Lead automation initiatives from planning through deployment while effectively managing priorities timelines and stakeholder expectations. Other Duties as Assigned What You'll Bring 3+ years of professional experience building automation solutions software integrations or business systems. Strong Python development skills with experience writing production-quality scripts and automation tools. Experience working with REST APIs JSON authentication methods (OAuth/API Keys) and third-party integrations. Experience using AI platforms such as OpenAI Anthropic Google Gemini Microsoft Copilot or similar technologies in production environments. Experience building automations using platforms such as Microsoft Power Automate Make Zapier n8n or similar workflow tools. Experience with browser automation frameworks such as Playwright Selenium or Puppeteer is strongly preferred. Familiarity with Git and version control workflows. Experience creating dashboards reports or business intelligence solutions. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Excellent written documentation and communication abilities. Ability to independently manage multiple technical projects simultaneously. Experience in healthcare behavioral health clinical research or another regulated industry is preferred but not required. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or a related field preferred or equivalent demonstrated experience.
