Who We Need As an Business Development Associate (Crypto Outreach) at Expedock you will help expand our client's presence within the crypto and Web3 ecosystem. This role is responsible for identifying relevant communities engaging with founders moderators project teams investors and community members and introducing their products and services in a natural value-first manner. This is not a hard-selling role. Success comes from building authentic relationships creating meaningful conversations and generating qualified opportunities for the Sales or Partnerships team. What You’ll Do Identify and research relevant crypto communities across Discord Telegram X (Twitter) Reddit LinkedIn Farcaster Community forums Join and actively participate in communities while following each platform's rules and etiquette. Introduce our services through personalized outreach and value-based conversations. Qualify prospects and identify projects that may benefit from our solutions. Book discovery calls or demos for the Business Development team. Track outreach activities using CRM and outreach tools. Monitor discussions to identify opportunities trends and potential partnerships. Share market intelligence and community feedback with internal stakeholders. Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to refine messaging and outreach campaigns. Meet weekly outreach engagement and qualified lead generation targets. Build relationships with Founders Community Managers Moderators Project Teams Investors Developers Finance professionals and industry stakeholders where relevant What You Need 1–3+ years of professional experience in one or more of the following Business Development Sales Development (SDR/BDR) Lead Generation Community Management Relationship Management Client-facing roles Financial Services Investment Banking Private Equity Venture Capital Asset Management Corporate Finance Consulting or other finance-related fields Strong research analytical and communication skills with the ability to quickly understand new industries and engage professionals through thoughtful outreach. Excellent written English communication skills. Comfortable initiating conversations and building relationships across online communities and professional networks. Strong prospecting and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple conversations and priorities simultaneously. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment. Active user of LinkedIn X (Twitter) Discord Telegram Reddit or willing to become proficient in community-based outreach platforms. Preferred Qualifications Exposure to or strong interest in cryptocurrency blockchain or the Web3 ecosystem. Experience working in a crypto startup or Web3 company. Existing network within crypto or technology communities. Familiarity with NFT DeFi Layer 1/Layer 2 ecosystems AI or blockchain infrastructure projects. Experience using CRM platforms (HubSpot Salesforce Pipedrive etc.). Experience with outreach tools such as Apollo Clay PhantomBuster LinkedIn Sales Navigator or similar platforms. Understanding of token launches fundraising ecosystem growth or emerging technologies is a plus.
