The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Accountant (CPA) contractor to join our growing finance and operations team. This is a remote/work-from-home position based in Davao Philippines supporting our U.S. operations. Our culture is built on Respect transparency and collaboration Open communication and supportive leadership Treating professionals as trusted partners not numbers A high-performance environment focused on teamwork and growth Growth & Career Development As Elder Care Homecare continues expanding across multiple states this role offers strong professional growth opportunities including Exposure to multi-entity U.S. healthcare operations Opportunities to lead projects and operational initiatives Experience working alongside executive leadership Involvement in AI and workflow optimization initiatives The chance to help shape scalable accounting and operational systems Key Responsibilities Maintain and update accounting records and financial files Handle end-to-end transactional accounting including Accounts Receivable (AR) Accounts Payable (AP) Journal Entries Reconcile bank accounts and balance sheet accounts Analyze financial transactions with internal and external stakeholders Support variance analysis reporting Budget vs. Actual Month-over-Month Year-to-Date Support month-end and year-end closing activities Prepare supporting documentation for audits Advise stakeholders on financial matters via email and phone communication Recommend accounting policies and business process improvements Ensure compliance with accounting standards policies and regulations Manage day-to-day accounting operations while supporting strategic initiatives and projects Coordinate competing operational and strategic priorities effectively Identify opportunities for Process improvements Workflow optimization Operational efficiency Support evaluation and implementation of AI and agentic workflows Serve as an internal NetSuite subject matter expert Qualifications & Requirements CPA required with strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required 3+ years of accounting experience in a multi-entity or multi-subsidiary environment Prior project management experience required Strong experience with End-to-end accounting transactions Fixed Asset Management (FAM) Match bank data Intercompany transactions Custom searches and reporting 3+ years of NetSuite experience required NetSuite Financial User certification strongly preferred Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Google Sheets Microsoft Excel Google Workspace Microsoft Office Suite Knowledge of accounting systems APIs and data structures is a plus Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to independently manage priorities and execute effectively Forward-thinking mindset regarding AI automation and operational efficiency Strong business judgment and problem-solving abilities Prior managerial experience preferred Experience working with a U.S. East Coast company is a major plus Our Commitment to You At Elder Care Homecare we are committed to Treating every team member with dignity and respect Providing a supportive ethical and growth-oriented environment Recognizing strong performance and investing in our people Building a culture where talented professionals can thrive and grow Ready to Grow With Us?
