As the Senior Director of Software Quality Assurance you will lead the vision strategy and execution of quality across a complex multi-product SaaS ecosystem. Build mentor and scale a globally distributed QA organization spanning manual automation and performance testing while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence. Establish enterprise-wide testing standards automation frameworks performance engineering practices and quality gates integrated into modern CI/CD pipelines. Partner with Engineering Product and Platform teams to promote a shift-left quality approach ensuring testing and risk assessment are embedded from the earliest design stages. Drive the adoption of AI-assisted testing capabilities including automated test generation intelligent analysis and quality validation for AI-assisted software development. Define quality metrics reporting frameworks and executive dashboards to monitor release readiness defect trends automation effectiveness and overall software quality. Standardize testing tools environments and processes while overseeing QA budgets vendor relationships and strategic technology investments. Communicate quality strategy technical risks and organizational priorities to executive stakeholders while influencing engineering decisions across multiple teams. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related discipline or equivalent professional experience. 10–15 years of experience in software quality engineering including extensive leadership experience managing QA managers and large distributed teams. Proven success leading quality assurance across enterprise-scale multi-tenant SaaS platforms with expertise in manual automated and performance testing. Strong knowledge of modern automation frameworks and testing tools such as Playwright Selenium Cypress Appium REST Assured Postman and performance testing solutions including JMeter k6 Gatling or Locust. Experience integrating quality gates into CI/CD pipelines using platforms such as GitHub Actions Jenkins GitLab CI or Azure DevOps. Solid understanding of cloud-native architectures APIs microservices containerization SQL and scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript/TypeScript. Experience applying AI-powered development and testing tools to improve automation test design and quality analysis. Strong analytical communication and executive presentation skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and lead organizational change. Experience with observability accessibility security testing regulated environments or large-scale enterprise software is considered an advantage.
