As a Development Engineer you will contribute to implementing and maintaining these services including: Modeling domain events Publishing/consuming events Composing workflows across services You will work closely with your peers to understand customer requirements and translate them into functional software solutions. Your work will span from event-driven services to customer-facing interfaces ensuring that our users have seamless reliable and impactful experiences. This is a remote position open to applicants in Canada and in the USA. Job Duties Contribute to the development and maintenance of software applications and systems Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements Write clean maintainable scalable and efficient code Troubleshoot and debug software issues Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality Create and maintain technical documentation Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development Build influence within a microservice's design and implementation Knowledge Skills and Abilities Growing professional expertise in designing developing and maintaining complex software systems Ability to complete work within team-defined guidelines Skilled at fixing moderate well-scoped issues Strong collaboration skills and ability to build internal/external working relationships Capable of working independently with general supervision Qualifications Required - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field 1–3 years of experience in software engineering The base salary range for this position is $114030 - 126700 USD for US residents OR $99000 - $110000 CAD for Canadian residents. Other countries will differ. Range may vary on a number of factors including but not limited to: location experience and qualifications.
